Connecting Code Lexica to AI coding tools

Give Cursor, Claude Code, and similar tools real context about your codebase.

4 min read

AI coding tools are powerful, but they're only as good as the context they're given. Code Lexica makes your codebase context portable, so tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot stop guessing and start answering based on how your system actually works.

Export any report as Markdown

Every report in Code Lexica is exportable as a Markdown (.md) file. Markdown is directly ingestible as context by any AI coding agent, so you can attach a System Overview, Technical Assessment, Developer Onboarding doc, or custom report to a Cursor/Claude Code session and immediately have your agent working against an accurate picture of your codebase.

This works today, without any extra setup, from any workspace that has a processed repository.

MCP Server (coming soon)

We're rolling out a dedicated MCP server that plugs Code Lexica's codebase intelligence into MCP-compatible agents as a live context source, with guardrails and governance built in. Early access is being staged out now.

To join the waitlist and be notified as soon as the MCP server is available for your workspace, email us at support@codelexica.com and we'll add you.

What "guardrails" means

Guardrails are the rules that keep AI tools from doing things your team didn't intend: for example, touching files outside a defined scope, or bypassing code review. Code Lexica gives you controls so AI assistance stays inside your team's lines.
